I begin by praising God and i ask Him to send His peace and blessings to all His Prophets, righteous people who have lived and to us all. It’s more rational to believe than not to believe. World view would consider the existence of God against the nonexistence of God. I will go with the view that this universe is controlled by a Supreme Being. The big debate between believers and atheists take twists with the ticking of the clock. “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” So said Albert Einstein, and his famous aphorism has been the source of endless debate between believers and non-believers wanting to claim the greatest scientist of the 20th century as their own.
But my question is this, if truly there is no God, where do humans go when they die? What explains the fact that Whites, Blacks and Asians could donate blood to one another? If the evolution theory is absolute, why don’t we have monkeys evolving to humans today?
I don’t disagree that there is no evolution in creation; I will take a view of creative evolution. It must have started somewhere and sometime; no?
I urge Christians and Muslims to team together in fighting evil, poverty, new atheism and immorality which are all in the rise. Every civilization is failing except that which God had introduced via revelation to His Prophets since time immemorial. See below how to disprove disbelief.
1.Know your Religion by studying your scripture:
To fully and correctly understand a religion, one must study the scripture and not only observe the followers of that religion. Being a Muslim, what guarantees my faith in Islam is the Quran itself. When I read and study the Quran, I am impressed by the things It address in every aspect of human life and existence. The Quran is not a book of science but it describes science prior to scientific development to the amazement of modern scientists. I will cite 2 of such examples that are in conformity with modern science. Note the Quran has been with mankind for1400years ago.
a) Embryology:-Professor Keith Moore a notable embryologist confirmed the Quranic embryology and said what the Quran described could not have been possibly known without the help of microscopes:
Quran 23:12-13 say; certainly we have created man out of clay, Then we placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
How could an Arab in the desert 14 centuries ago know these detail?
b) The Big bang:- The Big Bang Theory is the leading explanation about how the universe began. At its simplest, it talks about the universe as we know it starting with a small singularity, then inflating over the next 13.8 billion years to the cosmos that we know today. This universal expansion was predicted from general relativity by Alexander Friedmann in 1922 and Georges Lemaître in 1927, well before Hubble made his 1929 analysis and observations, and it remains the cornerstone of the Big Bang theory.
Quran 21:31 says; Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
Notice! after the question mark, we are told every living thing was made out of water(also confirmed by modern science)
How could a man living in Arabia have such knowledge without scientific tools?
2. Follow your Scripture:
If you start doing the right thing, all the wrong things and people would run away from you. Most of us believers do not know the contents of our scriptures talk less of following the scriptures. secular knowledge has cropped into the worship of God. We follow our churches and Imams than we could follow our scripture. Sad enough most of the church teachings do not tally with the teachings of the scripture. Thus nonbelievers would question and make fools of us. What makes a believer different from a nonbeliever is not the label (Muslim/Christian) but the ability to follow the teachings of God as per scripture. Let’s cite 2 issues I will regard as vital instructions which believers disregard.
a) Dress code: we are told today Muslims subjugate their women under the veil. This would mean Mary the Mother of Jesus (pbuh) was subjugated by God. It is worth saying here that; we are addressed the way we dress. Conventionally, the barons and immoral people wish to see our mothers, sisters and daughters dressed up in mini skirts (exposing their body). We Muslims would suggest our female humans are not public property. The Bible believing Christian should vocalize so too.
*Bible——- 1 Timothy 2:9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes. 1Cor 11: 5And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for it is just as if her head were shaved. 6If a woman does not cover her head, let her hair be cut off. And if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head.
*Quran——-24:30 Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do. 31– And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.
Let us follow our scripture and disbelief would come to reason. Don’t let the bad change you, you try to change the bad.
b) Intoxication: As for how it affects the mind, it is best understood as a drug that reduces a person’s ability to think rationally and distorts his or her judgment. Although classified as a depressant, the amount of alcohol consumed determines the type of effect. Could we say then alcohol is a disease? Drinking can harm your health. … Excessive alcohol use is a leading cause of preventable death. This dangerous behavior accounted for approximately 88,000 deaths per year from 2006–2010, and accounted for 1 in 10 deaths among working-age adults aged 20–64 years.
*Bible—–Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler;
whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
*Quran—- O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.
Who could advise us better than our Creator?
In sum folks, what I have tried to show is that the Creator of the heavens, Earth and everything in between is the Best of Guiders
As much as radio sets, Tv sets, mobile phones etc have instruction manuals, so do humans. As a Muslim, the last and final instruction manual for me is the Quran. The Christians must consider the Bible as a Divine manual too. My God believing friends, all we got is the scriptures. Let us use them to conquer evil.
